Sustainability at Daimler Truck
As one of the world’s leading commercial vehicle manufacturers, we have set ourselves a clear goal: we want to develop sustainable and future-oriented vehicles for everyday use on the road, both for transporting people and goods. In this way, we pay attention to the environment and social responsibility for ourselves and our partners.
For us, sustainability is not an optional extra, but an integral part of our core business that fundamentally shapes our corporate activities. We focus on the themes of Planet, People and Performance.
A leader in technological transformation
One of our long-term corporate goals is to lead the technological transformation that will enable CO₂-free road transport by 2050. To achieve this, we will offer trucks and buses powered by batteries and hydrogen in our markets, which will be CO₂-free on the road (“tank-to-wheel”).
Sustainability is what drives us
Our entire business strategy directly or indirectly influences sustainability. In particular, the transition to CO₂-free drive technologies is transforming not only our core production processes but also the tasks of our employees. We actively support these changes and ensure that sustainability is deeply rooted in our organization through training programs, improving production processes and supporting innovation.
